Milton R. McCall

The 165' Class Crew/Supply vessel, M/V Milton R. McCall, sistership to the M/V Keith G. McCall, was delivered to Seacor Marine, Inc. of Houston, Texas by Gulf Craft, LLC on October 31, 2001.  The M/V Milton R. McCall features, fuel capacity of 26,850 gallons, rig water capacity of 32,150 gallons, ship's water capacity of 1,250 gallons, engine lube oil capacity of 500 gallons, gear lube oil capacity of 120 gallons and waste oil capacity of 120 gallons.  Aft deck space measures 82' x 24.5' providing 2,000 square feet of loading and deck cargo capacity of 200 long tons.

The vessel is powered by four Cummins KTA 50-M2 diesel engines rated at 1800 BHP @ 1900 RPM and coupled with four Twin Disc, model MG 6848 SC, 2.47:1 reduction ratio gears.  Each engine powers a Hamilton HM-811 waterjet providing a light ship speed of 34 knots and fully loaded speed of 25 knots.  Twin 99KW Cummins 6BT5.9-G2 generators supply electrical power for the vessel's services.

Passenger accommodations include 84 reclining business class bucket seats in the air conditioned main deck cabin.   Special accommodations for the passengers include a refreshment area with a snack and beverage vending machine, microwave oven, coffee maker and kitchen sink.  While in transit the passengers can stay in touch with the office or family via the vessel's communications room.  The communications room is equipped with a cellular phone, fax machine and computer with email capabilities.  The passenger compartment is divided into two sections.  Each section is equipped with two 30" televisions and VCR.  The aft passenger section is also equipped with an AM/FM stereo receiver with CD player and Dolby Surround Sound system providing VCR surround sound playback.  Between both passenger seating areas is the head with lavatory, urinal and stall with toilet.

Air conditioned crew accommodations below the main deck cabin include five  staterooms with two berths and one clothes locker per stateroom, one head with lavatory, toilet and shower, a laundry room equipped with washer/dryer and freezer, galley with electric range/oven, sink, refrigerator/freezer, food pantry and mess area with a split table booth seating arrangement and TV/VCR for the crews entertainment.  Special accommodations for the vessel's officers, which are located aft of the pilot house, includes two staterooms and a head.  Each stateroom is arranged with a bunk, clothes locker, desk and TV/VCR entertainment center.

Navigational and electronic equipment aboard the M/V Milton R. McCall include one Garmin GPS, dual Furuno radars, two ICOM VHF radios, an ICOM Single Side Band radio, autopilot by ComNav, loudhailer by Raytheon, fluxgate compass by KVH, Navtex Receiver by Furuno, fathometer by Datamarine, camera monitoring system by Pro Video, stereo/cassette player by Seaworthy, two forward search lights by Carlisle Finch and navigation lights by Perko.  The aft steering station is equipped with an ICOM VHF,  loudhailer by Raytheon, a GPS by Garmin and rear search light by Carlisle Finch.
