Gulf Craft, LLC is a leading provider of new aluminum vessel construction. These vessels hail from ports throughout the world. Family owned and operated since 1965, Gulf Craft has extensive experience in the design and construction of commercial aluminum vessels used primarily in the passenger and oilfield markets.

Gulf Craft's new main facility is completely integrated for efficient vessel construction. Located on 25 acres of property along the Charenton Canal in Franklin, Louisiana, the facility is easily accessible from the Gulf of Mexico via the Atchafalaya River and Intracoastal Canal. The site provides 600 linear feet of protected bulkhead. The yard has one 200'L x 54'W slip for launching and hauling out vessels with its state of the art 500 ton capacity Marine Travelift, plus two covered 225'L x 90'W x 65'H fabrication bays for completion of vessels.

Gulf Craft has a second facility to assist in the construction of parts such as frames, bulkheads, superstructures, tanks, rails, vents, etc. Located in Simmesport, Louisiana, the facility has 15,000 square feet of protected workspace with three electric overhead cranes. The Simmesport facility is a valuable complement to the main facility in the overall production and output of vessels.
